How Can Chiropratic Help Me

More than a little crackle and pop

If you have never received chiropractic help, you might think it’s nothing more than “back cracking,” but we invite you to take a closer look. There’s a reason chiropractic is the most popular form of nontraditional healthcare today. It works. Drug-free, non-invasive, and shown to successfully treat a broad range of conditions, it could significantly improve your life.

From your spine, there’s a direct path to every part of your body: Every single nerve inside you travels through a space separating vertebrae. This is why symptoms can be experienced in different places on the body when a joint in your spine becomes fixated—or stuck—due to tissue injury. (Tissue injury can result from a traumatic event, such as car accident, but far more commonly it results from repetitive stresses, such as poor posture when sitting.) Basically, a stuck joint can irritate neighboring nerves. A chiropractor is trained to examine and diagnose tissue damage, then treat it by applying strategic and controlled force into affected joints, thereby relieving pain and other symptoms showing up elsewhere.

Here is a list of some of the common conditions chiropractors help with everyday:

Low and mid-back pain
Neck and shoulder pain
Leg pain
Knee pain
Plantar fasciitis
Headaches
Migraines
Dizziness
Ringing in the ears
Carpal tunnel syndrome
Tennis elbow
Asthma
Scoliosis
Disc bulge/herniation

It is my mission not only to get to the root of my patients’ pain and health problems but also to educate them about how their body works along the way. Understanding why you are in pain is a big part of the healing process.
